Fuse Enters Esports Arena with an Exclusive ESL One Music Sponsorship; Announces Powerhouse Duo Krewella to Headline October 1-2 Tournament

Fuse Coverage to Include Half-Hour Special and News Segments Featuring Celebrities, Fans and Players

LOS ANGELES and NEW YORK – September 23 – Fuse (www.fuse.tv), a national television network for the fast-growing, Latino and multicultural 18-34 audience, today announced it has entered the esports arena as the exclusive music sponsor for ESL One New York 2016, one of the world’s largest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournaments, set for October 1-2at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. As part of this sponsorship deal with ESL, the worlds largest esports company, Fuse will present powerhouse duo Krewella to close out the event with a high-octane performance in front of thousands of gaming fans.

Marking the network’s entrance into esports, Fuse plans a no-holds barred presence at the most anticipated esports event on the East Coast with comprehensive coverage across all platforms including Fuse, Fuse.tv, the Fuse TV app and @Fuse on all social channels. With teams on site to capture the excitement as it unfolds in all four corners of the Barclays Center, Fuse will offer event coverage throughout the weekend featuring exclusive video interviews with the titans of esports, and the artists and high-profile gaming “rock stars” who regularly appear at the event, as well as up-to-the-minute reporting from various floor correspondents.

Fuse will also produce and premiere an esports themed special coming out of ESL One with more details to be announced soon.

As part of the sponsorship, ESL One attendees will be treated to a promo video clip of the Fuse original docu-series Clash of the Corps – an inside look at the competitive world of Drum Corps International – which premieres October 5.

EDM sisters and Billboard charters Jahan Yousaf and Yasmine Yousaf of Krewella will take the main stage Sunday to close out the weekend event. The pair is known for their electrifying performances and mastery of various dance music subgenres that include dubstep, hardstyle, progressive house and more.

ESL One New York 2016 features the world’s top eight Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams in a US $250,000 tournament, and local and international Street Fighter V players in a US $75,000 event.
